Hmm . . . so this is a blog-in-progress. Please get involved as you will.

Honolulu/Hawaii needs community for our artists/intellectuals. I imagine an interchange of ideas, insights, inspirations. I think commercial art in Hawaii is often flat. Uninspiring. With the right community, we might be able to transcend the limitations of Island Art, Island Music, Island Film, Island Literature, and Island Drama. . .

Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this. Honestly, I'd just like to meet people who inspire me. I get a buzz when I interact with artists. I want this place to be about that buzz.

Maybe there already exists a great place for what I'm looking for. If so, please point the direction.

Maybe this site will go somewhere. Maybe.
